Studio/Facilities and Hire

Our amazing studio's have been hired for rehearsals and filming for television shows such as "Dancing With The Stars", and
"So You Think You Can Dance".



Jdance Performance Studio was the first ever fully approved Dance and Performing Arts Complex approved by City of Ryde Council. Our studio's set a precedent for dance studio fitout's in the local area. Once again we are forefront in the field. Our state of the art studio's are equipped with the following: * Wall to wall mirrors. * Ballet barres. * Air conditioning - reverse cycle. * Tarkett Dance Floor - as used by professional dance companies such as, "Australian Ballet" & "Sydney Dance Company". * Professional computerised sound system. * New & clean bathroom facilities with direct access to studio's for students safety. Also disabled access facilities. * Changerooms and baggage area, tiled to maintain hygiene. * Kitchen equipped with refridgerator, microwave oven & kettle. * T.V & video playback facilities - a valuable educational tool.

Studio Dimensions
Studio 1 (main studio) is approximately 9.5 metres x 9.5 metres.

Studio 2 (secondary studio) is approximately 9.5metres x 7.4 metres minus stairwell and facilities in back corner.

Bi-fold doors can open to combine studio's for a total floorspace.

Studio Hire
"Jdance Performance Studio's" are available to hire on a casual or permanent basis.
Hire rates are by the hour with discounts given to regular users. Studio's are for hire during times when 'Jdance' classes are not held. See timetable for further confirmation. As a general rule, studio hire is available before 3.00pm weekdays, after 6.00pm Saturdays and all day Sunday. Government school holidays are also usually available as classes are not held during this time. Special discounts are given to "Jdance Performance Studio" clients for HSC rehearsals and the like. Office Staff Meet Jenny's mum, Jan Housden. Jan is in charge of the "Jdance Office" which is open for the first four weeks of each term only. This is the final due date for fees and a chance to stock up on uniforms. Jan will always greet you with a smile and can handle general enquiries.



Kitchen Facilities Jdance provides kitchen facilities for students including, sink, fridge, and microwave. Students are reminded to keep this area clean and tidy after use.
